The purpose of the Eddy County Fair junior board program is to encourage participation from the youth in the planning and running the annual fair.
Guidelines:
• The junior board will be supervised my one member of the senior board
• The Junior board will not consist of more than 12 members that are approved through the senior board
• All junior members will be assigned to a senior member to assist with all efforts leading up to and tasks performed throughout the fair
• The junior board will be responsible for electing a president, vice president, secretary, Parliamentarian and treasurer
activities
• The junior board will meet a minimum of 4 times a year and all suggestions and reports will be passed on to The Eddy County Fair Board
• The junior board will be responsible for encouraging all Eddy County Fair participants to attend workdays and help where needed
• The secretary of the junior board will keep an accurate record of meeting minutes and volunteer hour donated
• The junior board will be funded by the Eddy County Fair Board. For every hour donated by the youth to The Eddy County Fair, $5 will be put into an account (up to $5000) for the junior board to spend on anything fair related. All spending will be approved by The Eddy County Fair Board
